Pre-Departure Penalty Waiver*
Provided by Southwest Vacations (non-insurance features)
Cancel your Vacation Exclusive package for any reason at any time prior to departure and receive a refund to the original form of payment for the full Vacation Exclusive package price, less the cost of ights and the travel protection plan cost. The Vacation Exclusive cancel penalty will be waived.
No supplier penalties or fees:
- If you change or cancel your Vacation Exclusive package prior to departure, all supplier penalties and fees for hotels, rental cars and/or activities will be waived under the Penalty Waiver.
- If you change your Vacation Exclusive package and choose to apply your Penalty Waiver to waive any supplier penalties or fees, the product is considered used. You will be required to repurchase travel protection in order to help protect your vacation from that point forward. If you choose to decline repurchasing Southwest Vacations’ Travel Protection after a supplier fee is waived, you will be subject to any subsequent fees or further revisions or cancellation and will no longer have any of the benefits previously o ered with Southwest Vacations’ Travel Protection Plus.
Hurricane travel credit
- If a hurricane affects your city of origin or destination prior to your departure, receive a refund for your unused air, hotel, rental car and/or activities.
